Momoko Otani’s ceramics are objects that reveal themselves over time.
We chose to carry her work after more than ten years of using it in our daily life, discovering how, with use, each piece naturally fits in the hand and becomes part of everyday gestures.
Her distinctive motifs — lotus and banana leaves — are inspired by the landscapes she encountered during her time in Indonesia. Vital and familiar elements, translated into soft and fluid decorations.
Though visually recognizable, her ceramics remain highly versatile, suitable for a wide range of cuisines and settings, from everyday dining to more refined occasions.
Each form reflects a deep attention to use, shaped by the perspective of a ceramist and a life closely connected to the rhythms of cooking and living.
